The Bush administration is scrambling to engage with Pakistan's new rulers as power flows from its strong ally, President Pervez Musharraf, to a powerful civilian government buoyed by anti-American sentiment.
We're not the only ones sick of war. People everywhere want something different regarding the neverending "war on terror".

(Harrisburg) -- With just three days to go until the state's voter registration deadline for the upcoming primary, Pennsylvania's online voter information website has been shut down because of a security breach. Rebecca Halton, spokeswoman for the Department of State, says officials learned late Tuesday that information submitted by some users through the onscreen registration process had been viewed by others.
Pay Rent and Eat Too?

I was going through my library a bit ago, when I noticed an old grocery receipt from a year ago which I had used as a bookmark. It was quite the eye opener and an education in some black and white realities I have been trying to avoid. Prices in my area have really climbed since a year ago. As a consequence of this discovery, I pursued viewing my current whole life budget and got down to brass tacks.
Now, I am only a single person (and 2 pootie) household and am finding it harder to pay for food each month. I can't imagine what families are going through right now. Since food consumption is the main indicator of how well a life is going, I used that as the basis of my poll.
